As we celebrate our national freedom anew, do you know the freedom that comes from believing in Jesus Christ? True freedom has always demanded a sacrifice. The Almighty God upon whom our forefathers depended knows that very well. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die for your sins and mine so that we might experience true freedom. Jesus Himself said, ...Everyone who sins is a slave to sin...But if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:34,36 Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our eternal freedom. ...Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3 ...And He also accomplished the ultimate victory: He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:4 Have you trusted His death alone as the sacrifice for your sin? The Bible assures us,...All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. Acts 10:43 Receiving God's forgiveness and eternal life is as simple as confessing your sinfulness to God and trusting in His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Savior. | ||||||||
